Its one of my hubby's favorite pakodas. I had never heard of the singhade ka atta before , but recently my husband found that atta in a supermarket and he was super excited about this!! It is a veryyyyy simple recipe with a tasty outcome.....you will love those hot pakodas in any rainy evening with a hot cup of tea.
Ingredients :
1. Singhara ka atta- 1 cup
2. Potato- 3 medium
3. Green chilly- 2
4. Jeera (cumin seeds)- 1 tsp
5. Cumin powder (Jeera powder)- 1/2 tsp
6. Salt to taste
7. Black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
8. Garam masala (freshly prepared)- 1 pinch
9. Oil
Procedure :
Boil the potatoes and peel the skin. In a large bowl mix the mashed potatoes with the atta , chopped green chilly , roasted jeera , pepper , jeera powder , garam masala and salt. Make small balls from this mixture and keep them aside. Heat oil in a kadhayi for deep frying the pakodas. When the oil is ready , fry the pakodas on medium flame. Fry until they turn golden brown in color.
Keep them on a kitchen napkin to remove excess oil. Serve with tomato ketch up and green chutney. If you want , you can sprinkle a little black salt on top of the pakodas.
